Taylor Alison Swift (Reading, Pennsylvania, December 13, 1989), better known as Taylor Swift, is an American singer, songwriter and performer of country, pop and indie pop music. She is also an actress.

Raised in Wyomissing (Pennsylvania), Swift moved to Nashville (Tennessee) at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the independent record company Big Machine Records and became the youngest artist signed by Sony/ATV Music Publishing House.

Taylor Swift was the first self-titled studio album by country singer-songwriter Taylor Swift.[3] The album was released on October 24, 2006, under the Big Machine Records label. Swift wrote the songs for the album during her junior year of high school and has written credits on all the songs on the albums, including the songs co-written with Liz Rose.

Swift experimented with recording the album with many producers, ultimately choosing the producer who produced her demo, Nathan Chapman. Fifteen weeks after being included in the pop music stations, ‘Love Story’ became the first song of country music reaching number one on the Nielsen BDS CHR / Top 40 chart in the chart’s sixteen-year history, it also reached number one on the Mediabase Top 40 Chart.

Fearless’ second single, ‘White Horse’, debuted on December 8, 2008. The video premiered on CMT on February 7, 2009.
