While she has recorded orchestral dates and occasionally taken a detour to record originals, she is at her best when playing swinging versions of vintage songs.
Krall’s career has included many best-selling albums (eight debuted at the top of the Billboard charts), she has sold over 15 million albums and has headlined a countless number of concert dates and festivals.
Along the way she married Elvis Costello, produced a Barbra Streisand album, recorded as an accompanist to Paul McCartney, and recorded a full album with Tony Bennett.
