Bill Evans Trio – Portrait in Jazz (1959)
Portrait in Jazz is the fifth studio album by American jazz pianist Bill Evans as a leader, released in 1960. It is the first of only two studio albums to be recorded with his famous trio featuring bassist Scott LaFaro and drummer Paul Motian. It was originally released in both mono and stereo editions, each featuring a different take of “Autumn Leaves.”

Charles Mingus – Changes One/Changes Two (1974)
Changes Two is an album by Charles Mingus. It was recorded on 27, 28, and 30 December 1974 at Atlantic Studios in New York City—the same sessions which resulted in Mingus’s album Changes One. Atlantic Records initially released the record; in 1993, it was issued on CD by Rhino Records.
The brief version of “Duke Ellington’s Sound of Love” features vocals by Jackie Paris.

The Call is an album by bassist Henry Grimes. It was recorded in December 1965 in New York City, and was released by the ESP-Disk label in 1966. On the album, Grimes is joined by clarinetist Perry Robinson and drummer Tom Price.

Joe Lovano – From The Soul (1991)
From the Soul is a 1992 jazz album by American saxophonist and composer Joe Lovano, generally regarded as his masterpiece. It was recorded with a studio band rather than Lovano’s working group; it is notable for his only encounter with Michel Petrucciani (who plays in a more abstract, Paul Bleyish style than was usual with him), and for being one of Ed Blackwell‘s final recordings.

Some Time Ago is the 37th album by American jazz vocalist Mark Murphy. It was recorded in 1999 when Murphy was 68 years old and released by the HighNote Records label in the United States in 2000. The album is a collection of jazz bebop tunes and standards, with Murphy backed by a jazz quintet.
